For the sake of this list, I will first categorize the talent or skill of the heroines and then list characters with that skill or talent. For any magical girls included in the list, I am referencing their nonmagical talents.

1 Cooking

Tohru Honda Fruits Basket

 Tohru’s contribution to the Sohma household is her cooking skills. One of my favorite scenes in the manga and anime is when Tohru and Kyo make onigiri together. 

Najika Kazami Kitchen Princess

Najika is a young girl who dreams of becoming a chef. She has a wonderful sense of taste and the cooking skills to back it up. She is in search of her “flan prince.”

Singing

Mitsuki Koyama Full Moon O Sagashite

Mitsuki is a great singer, whether she is her natural 12-year-old self or her 16-year-old pop star alter ego.

Kobato From Kobato

Aside from being a beautiful clamp character, Kobato is a great singer often singing to children throughout the series.

Sports

Mizuki Ashiya Hana Kimi

Mizuki might have gone to Japan as a Izumi Sano. Fan girl, but early in the series she is known for being a runner who gives even Nakatsu a run for his money.

Maron Kusakabe Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne

In her civilian form, Maron is a talented gymnast. During one of her performances, Chiaki seems to start falling for her genuinely.

Acting and Fashion

Kyoko Mogami Skip Beat! 

While simultaneously working towards revenge against Sho, Kyoko becomes a talented actress and model. One of my favorite moments in this long-running series is when Kyoko plays an angel in one of Sho’s music videos.

Lele Caine The One

The One actually classifies as a Manhua a Chinese comic. Lele Caine is the child of fashion royalty, both of her parents were models. Although reluctant to join the industry at first due to the death of her parents, Lele eventually becomes determined to get to the top. Her talent is tremendous.

Sana Kurata Kodocha 

we can’t forget one of the O.G’s of the acting/entertainment shoujo subgenre. (The manga was published from 1995-1999.) Sana is a talented child actress

Naka Kaburagi Charming Junkie, AKA Nosatsu Junkie

Naka’s determination to become a model resembles Kyoko’s in Skip Beat! To get revenge on a former love. Known as a girl. Who can’t “smile like a flower.” With the help of Umi, a boy pretending to be a female model, Naka finds her place as a model

Tomoyo Daidouji CardCaptor Sakura

Tomoyo might not be the titular character, but she certainly knows how to make Sakura Chan look great throughout the series. We all need a talented fashionista and designer like Tomoyo in our lives.
